NaaniHouse is a bilingual Indian storytelling website for parents and children.

Language choice: your English/Hindi selection is saved in your browser's local storage under the key “dt-lang”.

Preview allowance: when the story experience is available, a record of preview time used and the next eligible time is kept in local storage under “naanihouse:shared-media-preview:v1”. It stays on your device.

Sign-in session: if you create an account or sign in, your sign-in session is kept in your browser so you stay signed in.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or third-party analytics scripts.

If you sign up with email and password, we store your email address and account record on our cloud hosting and database provider. A basic profile is created automatically; no special roles are assigned.

If you choose “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple”, that provider shares your basic account details (such as email) with us so you can sign in.

When the story experience is available, signed-in parents may ask for story suggestions. The details you type are sent to an AI service to choose stories from our catalogue. Please do not enter personal details about your child.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

The site and its backend are hosted by a third-party cloud hosting and database provider, which also handles sign-in. Technical error reports may be collected to keep the site working.

Paid membership is not yet available. No payment details are collected on this site.

You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.
